Technelec Ltd. is a high technology company specialising in the design, development and manufacture of specialist brushless machines, drives and power supplies. We provide a complete design, prototyping and manufacturing service for both hardware and software for customer applications or, where appropriate, Technelec can provide the electrical, electronic or software expertise to support a customer’s own engineering resources to bring a product to market.
The company was founded in 1992 by Professor Charles Pollock and Dr Helen Pollock with the aim of developing cost competitive, application specific, brushless motors and drives. We now have over 15 years experience in power electronics and drives with a track record of delivering innovative solution to customer requirements. Technelec’s unique flux switching motor technology has been successfully employed by international companies in domestic, automotive and industrial sectors. The motors have delivered superior performance in these applications without requiring the expense associated with other brushless motor technology.
